Introduction
Navan Springboard Company Ltd. trading as Navan Springboard Family Support Services was established in 1998 in response to a Department of Health Initiative to develop and provide community based family support services. Over the intervening years we have developed a range of family support services.
We continue to be a community based and we are a registered charity (CHY No. 13758). In our first ten years our work focus was on service provision in the Navan area. Since 2008 the geographical area covered by our work has increased to cover the whole of County Meath. Our principal focus is on parents and families with children up to 12 years of age.

“Navan Springboard Family Support Services mission is to support adults in their parenting role for the benefit of their children.”
Our work is undertaken in keeping with the National Agenda for Children Services and the five national outcomes identified as key areas for improving children’s lives. These state all children should be ;
- Healthy, both physically and mentally;
- Supported in active learning;
- Safe from accidental and intentional harm, and secure in the immediate and wider physical environment;
- Economically secure;
- Part of positive networks of family, friends, neighbours and community, and included and participating in society

Agency Values
We work from a strengths based perspective; we use the inherent strengths and supports each family have to begin to improve their situation.
Respect is our corner stone; we endeavour to treat each individual family member and our colleagues in other agencies with respect and fairness.
Empowerment, we work with each family at their starting point and at their own pace; as far as is practical we involve the parents and children in all decisions regarding our work with them.
Partnership; we strive to work in partnership with the parents, children and other agencies to achieve positive outcomes for the families and Communities we work in.
Team work, as individual staff we believe by supporting each other in our work; we deliver better support to the families with whom we work.
